Hadassah, space game, day 130
Hadassah: I am. Pythia and I go way back.
Q: How far back is 'way back'?
Hadassah: All the way back. As far as you can go. She wouldn't be HER without ME.
Note: I assumed this means she helped Pythia become Prince of Lies? And maybe even helped set up "lie" Heaven. I wondered if that meant she was originally from "actual" Heaven, but there was no way she was going to answer THAT in any way that was useful, so I tried to figure out something more indirect.
Q: Does that mean you have abilities she doesn't?
Hadassah: That's a strange leap of logic from someone like you. Why would—
Here she broke off really weirdly for a moment. Almost like she was restrained from saying something? And then she just smiled and continued like nothing was wrong.
Hadassah: Our relationship started with me giving her all sorts of useful information, but she's really made something of herself now. I'm proud of her.
Q: What's so special about her?
Hadassah: If Pythia wouldn't be Pythia without me, Heaven wouldn't be Heaven without Pythia.
Hell, day 144-146ish
- Azzy claimed to have found a "back door into Heaven." He recruited a group to make the trip.
- They did a ritual and walked through a portal
- Half the people on the trip ended up in "Heaven." The other half ended up in a jail cell in hell, due to "lack of faith."
- Heaven and Hell have no fixed location. They're generated by belief. The first time we saw "Heaven" is because our belief summoned it.
Heaven
- "Heaven's spaceship" - control room, on autopilot
- Technology (phones, cameras) didn't work
- Purification chamber with special holy water that cures corruption (quickly; doesn't take 40 days). Need to be careful as it can also burn away your sense of self.
- Concentrated holy water ("Extermination" setting) can melt objects
- Diary of the one remaining angel (Mehniel):
Under a "sleep seal," they slept through the war between heaven and hell. Was the only one left when they woke up - checked hundreds of outposts, but found no one. Questioned demons, but lost patience and killed them.
- Mehniel was there. Agreed to help get the idols out; this "help" is probably what took Tokyo-F "offline."
Hell jail
- Guards reported an "escape attempt."
- Guards looked like angels. Were apathetic, just getting a paycheck, didn't seem to be invested in working very hard. Or in anything else.
- Powers worked on them. Stabbing them worked, but they regenerated.
- Cell bars were magic - some objects couldn't go through, but if the guard took your hand you could go through. The bars could be overloaded and knocked out, but they re-activated. To disable them, you had to affect the source - circular runes on the floor. Seems to be the same tech as was in the Heaven rift.
- Everyone got one phone call. Phone functioned by saying the name you wanted to call, but it didn't always work.
- Some managed to escape by disabling the guards, some got signed officially out and driven off.
- Jail is in Liar Hell
Exael and Azzy
- Both interested in information about Heaven.
- Both got reports (text, call) when Tokyo-F was down. Both seemed surprised, and in Azzy's case, angry.
- Azzy on what happened to Tokyo-F: "Something slipped through the portal" he created.
- Exael on using demonic names: "Being a demon isn't like being a person. He doesn't need to listen to know what you're saying if you said his name." Wouldn't talk without nicknames.
- Exael on Azzy: "He's really powerful, and his whole city is held up by just him. He doesn't have enough other supporters; his territory would crumble without him."
Liar Hell
- Exael on liar hell: "All of this territory is just for show."
- Perpetual night and neon lights.
- Another copy of Tokyo. Runs the shows people are transferred to. Full of demons (many of which look like angels) and Damned of various levels of color and self-awareness. Fandom lives here.
Other demon info (take as hearsay)
- Exael on Azzy: "They say Mr. Devil Himself hand-picked him."
- "Pythia is more powerful than Lucifer, and has the power to make him believe things are true. That's why she can pretend to be 'voice of God' - she can make him think it's just funny."
- Azzy used to be a lust demon, but Lucifer had more use for him as Prince of Vengeance.
- Azzy isn't, or wasn't originally, a "real demon"; he approached Belial because "the transgressor" might be able to change that.
Hell day 146ish, Vengeance Hell
- Territories are kept stable by the power of the demons that reside there.
- Humans in Hell eventually wear down to nothing and lose themselves. Azzy and Pythia are the only two who try to help this, so they get "auditions" from other territories.
The City of Heaven
- Hell "won" the war, but Heaven wasn't destroyed. It's closed off and inaccessible, and God left the worlds of humanity for Hell to take.
- Hell welcomed angels that defected; no one knows how many fought how many defected, how many stayed in the city of heaven and how many hid elsewhere.
Azzy
- Azzy's parents are human - David and Lilith.
- Azzy acted as a spy in Heaven, and the fallen in his realm are reporting back to him.
Pythia
- She claims to be a priestess of Apollo, the last of the Pythia, the collective name for the Oracle at Delphi. That's what most people believe.
- However, some people say she's actually a snake demon.
- (nb: If that's true, "Pythia" is likely not her true name?)

Q: Was is that remarkable?
H: Yes. It isn't just anyone who can complete this sort of ritual.
Q: What did it do?
H: I don't know! Not yet.
Q: Then what was it meant to do? And when will you know?
H: [with a shrug] It's a reproduction of a very ancient ritual. Isn't that already exciting?
Q: Not really.
H: Well, I think it is! It's older than I am, you know. That's rare.
Q: Have you performed the ritual yourself?
H: It's never been performed ON me, if that's what you mean. Or, I don't think so. I suppose I wouldn't know if it had.
Q: Because something happened so you wouldn't, or because you don't remember that far back in general?
H: Closer to the former, but that's not the phrasing I'd choose. This sort of ritual, by it's nature, is too personal to the one experiencing it for them to perceive it that way.
Q: It's hard to be personal when 50 people are experiencing it.
H: You mistake my meaning. Technically, you were performing the ritual, not having it done to you.
Q: Then who was it being done to?
H: That's a secret! As much as I enjoy our chats, just because you ask doesn't mean I have to tell you.
