Video:11:27-53:00 (end). I don't expect anyone to watch all of this.
HIGH LEVEL SUMMARY: An announcement that a body has been discovered plays over the intercom and everyone is asked to gather in "the seance room," which is a candle-lit empty room with a girl's bloody body in the center of it. This is apparently a second murder, which happened while they were investigating the first. After some antics with Monokuma and the Monokubs (animatronic stuffed bears), the students get clarification on the rules of the game - killing is "first come, first served," so if the killer of the two victims (Angie and Tenko) is different, then the culprit they will look for at the "class trial," and the one who will win if they don't find them, is Angie's killer. However, they don't know for sure the two are different so they decide to investigate Tenko's murder regardless.
Kaito freaks out about curses, hugs Maki, gets smacked and leaves, looking kind of sickly; he tells Shuichi it's time to step up. Shuichi investigates the murder while Maki plays assistant.
The gist of the investigation is that Korekiyo, Shuichi, Kokichi and Himiko were performing a seance to summon Angie's spirit. Tenko was meant to be the medium, so she was crouched on the floor, under a heavy cage, which was under a sheet, which had a heavy statue of a dog on top of it. She nevertheless was somehow stabbed in the back of a neck by a sickle during the seance.
They finish the investigation and head out of the room. Just outside, Kokichi is lying on the ground, his head bloody. Is it a third murder?! ...No, he was just playing dead. Hilarious. He did however hit his head for real stepping through a floorboard, though, and appears to be genuinely kind of concussed.
At that point a bell rings and they are instructed to head to the trial grounds.
POINTS OF INTEREST: 18:45-21:32: Deciding to investigate. Kokichi seems excited. Kaito freaks out about curses and hugs Maki. Notably, he calls her Harumaki ("Maki Roll").
24:02-24:48: Investigating the body. Tenko has a stab wound in the back of her neck. Maki tells Shuichi that her death might not have been instant, but she couldn't have gone far before she bled out. Shuichi asks if she knows this from experience. "Of course. Quick deaths are my speciality."
35:02-35:37; Shuichi comments that the statue is 175 pounds, or about the weight of two girls. Maki asks "What do you know about girls? Have you ever touched a woman besides your mother?" After Shuichi reacts, she assures him she was kidding.
36:58-37:37: Tsumugi is crying that she was suspicious of Tenko. Maki tells her, "Cry later. Crying won't bring Tenko back... and if we don't investigate thoroughly, we'll die too."
48:54-50:24: Maki and Shuichi find Kokichi with his head bloodied on the floor in the hallway. He apparently hit his head pretty hard... Maki tells him, "If you're going to lose consciousness, do it after you tell us everything."
