I'll just tell you, then.

I don't have any idea what you have with King. It frustrates me that you don't tell me anything. But, I'm still glad there's someone else you care about who can be there for you, at least a bit.

And, as far as our relationship goes, ultimately it doesn't matter much what you have with him. Because you've been there for me in the worst times. You've stayed with me, even when I've hurt you, because you wanted to. You told me I was your equal and I could l do what I wanted, even without you. I've seen parts of you, and you've revealed parts of me, that no one else has. You can't even compare it to me and A, or me and Joker. You can't compare it to X, or Mars, or anyone else... it's stupid to even suggest it. And you can't compare it with King, either.

...I love you. I may not really know what love is, but when I think about you, and what you've done for me, and how I feel when we're together, and how much more I want to do with you... that's the only word I can use to describe it. And I have so much more that I want to show you I can do.

...That's fine, but that means you have to actually tell me when you're "fooling around" with someone. Even with King, I was only guessing, you know. The last time you said anything about him you just called it a train wreck, and the only reason I even knew to ask then was because Nine Nine mentioned you had a thing with him.

...Well, I'd talked about you with him a bit. So, that and the fact that you acknowledged him at all—even as a trainwreck—along with me and Man Eater means I knew things were complicated, but that he was important to you. That was plenty to guess that you protected Heart Soldier Senshi, since only they and pep!pep! were in danger. You wouldn't risk the chance to win and keep your unit safe for a unit with one less point than you.

I didn't know if you'd... done anything with King, but I guessed so from what Nine Nine said, and some of how King acted. Then, the fact King knew why I was acting the way I did at the hospital confirmed it for sure. But that was after we started doing things together.

...It's not like I got involved with him because he's yours, you know. Or I would have done that a while ago. We just... got closer, and I like him. It makes sense that I would, right...?
